Bedroom includes a comfy queen-sized bed and a futon that converts to a queen bed. Lots of closet space and room to work from home. Guests will have full privacy through the separate entrance and owners live onsite to answer any questions. Rental includes a shared backyard space, which has a fully-fenced yard and patio seating area. In the peaceful Athmar park neighborhood, with easy access to highways, downtown, and some of the best local restaurants (especially Mexican and Vietnamese) in the city.

Unit is for rent on flexible lease basis. We are open to a lease from 1 month to a year; it is perfect for traveling workers but could also be used for a full year lease. The unit is currently rented on Airbnb (with a 4.88/5 rating!) and we are planning to transition to a short or long-term lease.

All utilities are included in the rental price for a short term lease. For a year lease, we’d like tenants to pay 10% of the utility bill so that there is some regard for use; this is typically about $30 per month. Fast (1GB) internet is already set up and is included in any rental. Pets are allowed with a one-time $100 cleaning fee for one-month stays and a $200 cleaning fee for stays of 2+ months. Unit does not include washer/dryer, but we are open to buying a portable washing machine for tenant if signing a long-term lease.
